    Human Resources (HR) Specialist

    oogie solutions, LLC is a rapidly growing international business that specializes in premium baby care products. We are currently seeking a full-time Human Resources Specialist who will act as the communication and support center of our team. The applicant must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, have strong people skills, the ability to manage time and effective and exemplary organizational and data entry skills. This applicant must be capable in assisting in the implementation of office procedures and completion of day-to-day administrative tasks. 


    Duties and Responsibilities: 

    • Collaboratively works to implement proactive employee relations and employee engagement initiatives.
    • Maintains office services by organizing office operations and procedures, controlling correspondence, designing filing systems, reviewing, assigning and monitoring clerical functions.
    • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed- taking particular attention to incoming orders and outgoing shipments and other warehouse functions in addition to office functions.
    • Implements procedures for the onboarding of new team members.
    • Creates clear training initiatives and plans to drive operational success of new team members. 
    • Researches, implements and manages potential health and life insurance programs.
    • Maintains and reports on workplace health and safety compliance.
    • Maintains updated contact information for company employees, suppliers, contractors and consultants. 
    • Completes daily administrative tasks as assigned by CEO and COO. 
    • Orchestrates office supply replenishment orders by assessing inventory and office needs, comparing prices and completing orders. Completes necessary order returns and refunds.  


    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Must be proficient in Microsoft and Google Suite Applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Docs, Calendar and Gmail).
    • Excellent written and oral communication ability- knowledge of proper telephone and email etiquette. 
    • Self-Directed and must be able to complete tasks in a quality and efficient manner with little or no supervision.
    • Strong data entry and analytical skills.
    • Punctuality and accountability to maintain regular attendance
    • Excellent organizational skills and time management- must be able to work in our fast-paced office and still produce quantifiable results.
    • Facilitate an atmosphere of mutual respect and kindness between other employees and office visitors
    • Proven 2-3 year experience in an HR-related role or in a position with relevant responsibilities.
    • Preferable knowledge of HR management for growing small businesses and talent acquisition.
    • Overachieving attitude backed with a strong work ethic and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Must be located locally.

    Education, Experience and Applicable Licensing
    Bachelor's Degree in related field area required.
    Strong preference will be given to those with an accredited degree in communication, business management and/or human resources. 
    Required 3-4 years of experience in a business environment.
    Strongly preferred 2-3 year experience in an HR related role. 
    Valid Drivers’ License.
