    It’s easy to focus solely on work and give yourself a pass when it comes to healthy habits. Not only does productivity take a hit, so does overall health. This dynamic workshop will provide a plan to stay healthy and feel balanced vis-à-vis healthy eating, restorative sleep, mindfulness and fitness.

    Participants will discover ways to easily fit mind-body breaks into busy workdays and business travel through byte-size activity, and transfer learnings to everyday lives with mindful eating.

    This session includes six take-home food and fitness energy booster tip sheets!!

    Presenter: Kim Bercovitz, Ph.D.

    Dr. Kim Bercovitz (aka Dr. Kim) is a health behavior scientist who helps organizations create a healthy and safe workplace culture to optimize employee performance and reduce injuries.  Her workplace wellness company - X bytes -creates video stretch micro-breaks, 30-day challenges, and online wellness self-coaching programs.

    Trained in mindfulness-based stress reduction and a professional member of the National Speakers Association, Dr. Kim has a Ph.D. in Behavioral Science & Health and an M.S. in Exercise/Health Studies. She was an adjunct professor in public health at the University of Toronto and York University, the research scientist at Toronto teaching hospitals, and a National Cancer Institute of Canada postdoctoral fellow. Dr. Kim lives in Potomac MD and is am a member of SHRM and MC SHRM.
