What’s the best way to improve your employer brand and make your hiring easier? Get better reviews on employer reputation sites like Glassdoor. And what’s the best way to get better reviews? Hire fewer grumpy people who leave bad reviews after quitting or being fired. So how do you do that? How do you design a hiring process that consistently gets predictable, positive outcomes?

The hiring process can fail at several points, including:

    • Not attracting enough good people
    • Not selecting the people who are the most competent
    • Not moving quickly enough to secure the best candidates
    • Not setting the right performance expectations

Happily, some recent research on employee evaluations and behavioral economics demonstrates how you can improve your hiring practices without spending any more money than you do now.

With evidence-based hiring, you can focus your efforts on what is proven to work, and stop wasting time on outdated practices that are proven not to work.

In this session, participants will learn the elements of evidence-based hiring, which lead to improved employee retention, improved employee engagement, and higher employee productivity.
