We're excited to welcome guest speaker Hilary Frierson Keeley is the owner of Keeley Mediation Service, a comprehensive dispute resolution service based in Montgomery County, Maryland.

    About the Program:

    The Cost of Conflict

Have you ever had an EEOC complaint that you felt like did not involve discrimination issues at all? If so, you are not alone. Lots of employees feel that the EEOC process is the only forum to be heard. However, defending EEOC complaints cost companies money, time, and relationships.

Corporations that have developed collaborative conflict management systems report significant litigation cost savings. In a recent study Brown and Root reported an 80% reduction in outside litigation costs; Motorola reported a 75% reduction in litigation over a period of six years. You don’t have to be a large corporation to have a conflict management system the model works for companies of all sizes.

This course will teach you how to reach across the boundaries of your corporate structure and engage your HR, Legal, and C-Suite talent to develop a program that will prove to be an invaluable risk management tool within your organization.

In this course you will learn:

    • The Cost of Conflict & Your Company’s Bottom Line.

    • Introduction to Early Intervention Conflict Resolution.

    • Specific Steps to Implement an Early Intervention Conflict Resolution

    • Program within your Company.

    • The Role of an Ombudsman.

    • Resources to Develop an Early Intervention Conflict Resolution Program.
