    • Gaining the most free benefits from the American Jobs for America’s Heroes campaign and military employment counselors
    • Avoiding mistakes that cause veterans to turn down your offers.

    Stacy and Erin work every day with recruiters to help them find and hire the most qualified veterans and Guard members from among the thousands across America now looking for jobs. They have developed a network of hundreds of military employment counselors who are working one-on-one with soldiers and veterans from every military branch. Through these counselors, Stacy, Erin and their teams identify matches, help translate military training and skills and coach recruiters and business managers on how to evaluate the candidates’ “fit” in the culture of the company. They will help you avoid mistakes that many companies are making every day to their detriment.

    General Watson’s experience as the chief human resources officer for the National Guard brought her in contact with every state Guard command and their local efforts to partner with the business community. Her insights about how you can connect with the Guard and other military branches will help you take advantage of the many free services provided to employers by the military to help facilitate recruiting. Her candid comments about what employers can do to help service members succeed in their new jobs will help you avoid unnecessary turnover. Participant questions will be taken following the presentation.
