We're excited to welcome guest speaker Sharon Armstrong, of Sharon Armstrong and Associates.  Sharon will talk with us about Stress Free Performance Appraisals.

    About the Program

Organizations with effective communication practices are those who thrive.  Performance appraisals are a test of those effective communication skills.  Performance appraisals, if done properly, can be a valuable tool in improving the performance of your employees.  But if they are done improperly, they can be demoralizing and a waste of time.

The purpose of this session is to help HR professionals:

    • Help managers adequately plan for and conduct the effective appraisal discussion
    • Understand the importance of providing meaningful feedback to employees
    • Review rating errors and basic legal implications

Join us to gain an insightful look at a process that many of us may undervalue, and to which we may devote insufficient time.  At the end of this session, you will better understand how this workplace conversation meets key intrinsic employee motivational needs and helps build collaborative and highly engaged work environments.
