We are excited to have Stephanie Thornwell, SPHR, Account Executive, and Rebecca Fuller, Marketing Manager of The Insurance Exchange, Inc. talk with us about Using Benefit Trends to Develop a Competitive PPACA-Compliant Benefit Program. This program has been approved for 2.0 HRCI General Recertification credits.
HR professionals constantly hear that they need to understand their employee data and metrics and know how to use that information to earn a seat at the decision table. By understanding and presenting trends and benchmarks obtained from insurance claim information data to senior leadership, you can build or enhance your company’s benefit programs, resulting in increased marketplace competitiveness and compliance.
In this session, you will:
-
Examine regional and national benefit benchmarking information so that you can see where your organization falls, thus determining your competitiveness in the marketplace in terms of hiring and retaining talent
- Increase your understanding of the impact Health Care Reform has on designing and managing benefit programs
- Learn an approach to incorporating new laws with current practices and what to expect from using actuarial services to come up with cost scenarios
Stephanie Thornwell heads the Employee Benefit Accounts Service Team. She is licensed in life/health insurance and along with her 18+ years of experience in Human Resource Management, she brings to the agency a comprehensive understanding of the issues that are important to their clients’ success.
Rebecca Fuller is the Manager of the Marketing Department and heads up the technology and resources provided by the agency, including running the annual Mid-Market Health Benefits Survey. She has been working in the Insurance and Marketing Industry for 10+ years.
